Safe Children Program coordinates the distribution of child ID safety kits by working with day care centers, public and private schools, and preschools. Visit our Programs page to learn more on how we coordinate these programs.

We are committed to providing families with children with the information to stay educated, prepared, and informed. While there is no guarantee to prevent an emergency, the child ID safety kits we distribute, with the assistance of schools and day care centers, can help to greatly reduce the risks that families endure each day. The kits are a proactive step in your children’s education, while also properly preparing each family for an emergency.

The child ID safety kits we help to distribute are used by thousands of law enforcement and government agencies today, including the NYPD, US Coast Guard, and the Bureau of Criminal Investigation of Utah.

While fear-based education for your children is not what we recommend, we encourage families to advise their children in an understandable way, and not in an overwhelming manner. The child ID safety kits we distribute include child safety tips that parents can share with their children in a responsible, informed way.

If you would like to receive a child ID safety kit for your children, we would encourage you to contact your school’s principal or director and share this website and information with them. We are able, in many cases, to coordinate the program to provide our safety kits at no cost to the school or day care center and help every family and child.
